February 23, 2016 at 10:52 am in reply to: Full-size Revolution Video Slider breaks on resize #19507NexusModerator
We got in touch with the plugin author regarding this and we got this response
“Hello,
mobiles block video autoplay by default and we agree that its absolutely not recommended to do so. An auto playing video could unwantedly use up a visitors mobile data volume.
Here is a FAQ summing the topic up: http://www.themepunch.com/faq/video-not-showing-up-on-mobile/
Regards, ThemePunch”
So according to the FAQ, “Video content layer” is the only way to get the videos working in the mobile Phones
Thanks!
NexusModeratorSure we can check that. You can just temporarily switch to another theme and check weather this issue occurs even after deactivating our theme. That way we can be sure that this is a plugin issue. Pls let me know the result and I will talk to my developer about resolving it.
I will further check with Themepunch on how to resolve this issue and will get back to you ASAP.
NexusModeratorHi,
I did check all possible settings and the video is enabled in mobile devices, so I find it strange that the video is not showing up in mobile. I also created a new slide and did add the video as a separate layer(instead of background), but no luck.
I would suggest you to buy a copy of Revolution Slider and raise a support request with the plugin author. I am pretty sure that Themepunch will take care of this issue, rather than we fiddling with the slider settings.
Let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks!
NexusModeratorI see the issue. Pls leave a private reply here with a temp login to your site and I will take a look. Thanks!
NexusModeratorThis reply has been marked as private.NexusModeratorI am just repeating the same reply I gave couple of days back to you in Freshdesk just in-case if you missed it.

I see no issue here. Even though you have set the grid size in the Revolution Slider settings to 1024 x 475, since you are using the extinct theme which has it’s own grid system(1140 grid), the layers are automatically resized to 1140 px width and corresponding height.
Every theme has it’s own grid system and Revolution slider adjusts to that grid system. The only instance where the layer size remains 1024 x 475 px will be in themes that uses 960 grid.
Hope that helps. Thanks.
NexusModeratorI have done the first slide for you with all the text layer styles in it. You just have to create the remaining slider with the same styles and animations applied to the text layers.
Unfortunately the slider import error is with the plugin from long time now and happens in only few servers. Thanks!
NexusModeratorThe problem is in the Kenburns settings value you have set. You are trying to scale the images from 100% to 100% which will do nothing. Try to scale from 100% to say 120% and the kenburns will work. I have put some setting in the first slide which will do just that. You may want to play around with these values to get desired result. Hope that helps.
Thanks!
NexusModeratorThe slider is working fine for me here in my machine. Does this happen only when logged in? Can you elaborate on the Rev Slider issue you are facing?
Thanks!
NexusModeratorI have fixed the issue. The issue was with a setting that you put in the slider settings, to hide the text in the devices below the width 767px. Once that setting was removed, everything is working fine in small devices.
Hope that helps. Thanks!
NexusModeratorHi,
I did check the site and the flags are appearing in the homepage but not in the pages you mention. I really don’t know, what could be the issue (strange). I tried few things, but didn’t work.
I think, it’s better to contact the WPML guys and I am sure they will know how to resolve the issue. Pls let us know what they say.
Thanks!
NexusModeratorHi,
I don’t see any sliders in the homepage. Can you pls provide the link to the page where you have the slider running. Thanks!
NexusModeratorHi,
I have attached a psd file that has the template for creating the label. You just have to edit the text layer and export it to a png file. Hope that helps. Thanks!
NexusModeratorThe slides sliding is result of the transition type selected for the slides. You can change the behavior by changing the slide transitions for each slides after you edit the slides. Hope that helps.
Thanks!
NexusModeratorI have inserted some custom css into theme options to make sure, the arrows are displayed in small devices.
Regarding the slide navigation. I am unable to reproduce that issue here. The slider is showing normal behavior. I have checked in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE as well. Pls let me know the exact issue that you are facing.
Thanks!
