    Hiya,

I found it, as you suggested it was one of the Plugin’s – I thought I’d gone through that process but perhaps my cache wasn’t clearing correctly as it was WP Rocket adding some random padding and borders to certain elements – I had to disable it and set it up in safe mode to correct the problem.

    Hope this helps someone else!

    Hello!

Just for clarity, plugins and theme have been updated, uninstalled, re-installed, switched on and off one by one etc etc and no luck.

So I’ve investigated further. The problem goes away when I view the site from the WP dash board??? Which makes hunting for CSS errors a little tricky!

It’s also having an effect on my widget padding values too, they’re wandering all over the place when I’m logged out, but spot on when logged in?

I’ve attached some screen grabs for you to see…

    Ta,

    Hello Again,

    Just got into a lengthy debate with GoDaddy about the following errors appearing in the navigation bar at the top of my website;

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘custom_css_post_id’ in /home/content/n3pnexwpnas02_data02/58/3258658/html/wp-includes/theme.php on line 905

Warning: array_intersect_key(): Argument #1 is not an array in /home/content/n3pnexwpnas02_data02/58/3258658/html/wp-content/mu-plugins/gd-system-plugin/includes/log/components/class-customizer.php on line 66

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/n3pnexwpnas02_data02/58/3258658/html/wp-content/mu-plugins/gd-system-plugin/includes/log/components/class-customizer.php on line 76

After a Google search, nearly all websites displaying this error message are hosted on GoDaddy.

They’re trying to convince me that those errors are being caused by the theme’s incompatibility with GoDaddy’s server environment, which has only appeared in the last day – shortly after WP 4.7 and a few plugin updates. I might have bought it too, except that I’m running the exact same theme and plugin configuration on another Godaddy Server as a live-ish backup and that site isn’t experiencing any issues.

And then they tried to sell me a years worth of malware protection.

I’ve turned off and then one at a time, on all of my plugins and it had no effect, then went to a backup I had from 2 weeks ago and all is now well, I’ll update my plugin’s one at a time over the next few days to see if it’s plugin related.

If not, I’ll update my theme to see if that’s the issue.

    Hey Phoenix,

Just sent you the details. I think?

Let me know if you don’t get them.

    Oooooo.

So close, is there anyway to change the size of the video? It’s quite big!

I did find a conflict with the WP Rocket plugin, turned it off and now the video renders spot on across the different platforms.

I’ll flick through the settings in WP Rocket to see if there is anything specific that is causing the issue, but I think your solution is a little more elegant?

    Hey Guys,

Any clue as to what might be wrong with the search bar?

    Thanks,

    Hey Guys,

I had an issue with GoDaddy and my hosting and I’ve lost some of the changes you helped me with a while back. The most important one being the one above. You couldn’t tell me what you did could you so I can make the cnage – and have it for future reference please?

    Thanks

Just got hold of Vimeo and they’re experiencing difficulties. But it might be worth knowing the following:

There is a file setting in Vimeo, under the embed tab of a video settings screen at the very bottom called ‘automatically embed file in HD’ – if this box is ticked you will experience issues with the sizing of the video. They tried to blame the theme, I tried to blame them…

Once I unticked this box, all our videos rendered normally.

Vimeos current playback problems in Safari as of 13/11/2015 are unrelated to this original post.

Might be useful if this issue crops up else where.

Thanks! It’s all down to your template really…

The videos I mentioned are on the home page underneath the How Does It Work page section

    and here:

Just above the ‘Take This Course’ Button

    Thanks for your help.
