Can you pls zero in on exact page section which is causing this by creating another page with the same page sections. Try adding one page section at a time until you hit this error. That way you would know the exact page section which is causing this. You can always showcase other sections while we take a deeper look at the culprit section. Hope this helps.

This is really rare – we have not had our customers report broken site when the theme gets activated. Pls create another instance and let us know if you still have trouble.

One thing you can do is to check the PHP error log. That should provide the clue on what part of code exactly is making the site to break.

Wow – that was really fast. Will incorporate the change into the theme codebase and should be part of next update. Thanks!

Since you do have experience with PHP with child themes, would you mind giving a try at news based on what I have done for courses?

First, you will need to set the featured campaign in Header tab of theme options. The countdown is currently only shown for featured campaign in the header.

Pls make sure you provide an End Date under Campaign Details in the Campaign edit screen.

I do not think this has anything to do with the update. Looks like the workflow script is not really initializing and storing the state of the theme right and assumes that everything is a function and not an object with a state. Large number of themes are written with functions alone (no OOP) and hence the tool has no issues is my guess. It just depends on how the script is written and what assumptions the script makes about a theme. Sorry – it is really hard to support every tool out there. If this particular script is somewhere on the web – open source, I may be able to make some time to take a look at what’s happening.

Since I will incorporate this change as part of the theme itself in next update, you won’t need to make this change in the child theme. Your change will stay across updates.

Can you pls check now? I have updated the breadcrumbs.php file. The earlier changes were misplaced as suspected by me.

Looks like the root cause of this issue is there has been an initialization error. Are you sure the functions.php is getting called? Looks like the global vars are not being initialized since this particular file is not being called in the right way and that is the first file which gets executed by WordPress.

I am not sure about the exact scenario which causes this error. When exactly do you see this error? Is there a way we can replicate this – that’s what I am driving at. I see that the dev environment is working on its own but wanted to know what steps lead to these errors and how are they configured.

Can you pls post temp FTP access info as a private message? I can take a look at the exact change made by you. Also pls post a link to the page where you are seeing this happening and how you want this to be.

Have tested the code posted earlier and everything seemed normal, including spacing. May be there is a mistake when copy-pasting or probably it was modified at the wrong place.

I did some more tests and I am simply unable to play any vimeo videos on my browser in iOS. Chrome browser specially does not play any video even on vimeo.com site. The Safari is a little inconsistent – sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. The videos of course have been responsive for most part on both browsers – I wouldn’t worry about it right now.

Is there a way you can contact Vimeo directly and ask them why this is happening. Perhaps they are aware of this issue.

YouTube embed works great on browsers and is quite consistent.

I looked at the site in my iPhone and had no issues with the home page video – the YouTube one. The video was responsive on both Safari/Chrome browsers.

The course page had some responsive issue in Safari when loading for the first time (rest of the page loads showed vimeo video as responsive) but on Chrome the video seemed responsive. But, I could not get the video to play in Chrome or in Safari. Let me run some more tests here on the demo site and get back to you and get back to you.
