Cannot set the order for the trainers

Irrespective of what number I write in the “order field” whenever I go to add a new trainer it gets bumped to the front (i.e. is shown before every other trainer) – even if I write a number like 8 in that field. Thanks in advance.

Pls modify file template-trainers.php line no.16 like below and then you will be able to order the trainers using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/

The woocommerce seems to have some sorting builtin. Can you pls check this thread –
