But still text widget will not allow me to place this information just under post title (instead od ‘comments disabled’ elements). I presume that I would have to edit some theme source file(s) and place:
    do_shortcode(β€˜[rt_reading_time]’)

    Which one? πŸ˜‰

Yes. We are using “Reading Time WP” plug in and there is an option to manually place the information about reading time estimation in desired place. Notes from the plugin configuration regarding that subject:

    Shortcode: [rt_reading_time label=”Reading Time:” postfix=”minutes” postfix_singular=”minute”]

Or simply use [rt_reading_time] to return the number with no labels.

Want to insert the reading time into your theme? Use do_shortcode(‘[rt_reading_time]’).

    Hi,

I have read provided link (https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/19238/how-do-i-add-blog-as-a-prefix-to-permalink-structure-for-blog-posts-tag-pages). Desired and recommended answers tells that we should add only modifications to the permalink structre (rewrite codfes in .htaccess). But there is no exact rewrite code example (as code provided in the original question was involving adding all categories to the URL and creating ‘blog’ category).

could you please provide only the proper rewerite entries for the .htaccess files and I will give it a try?

    Hi,

    thank you!

No, I have not modified style.css – it was a freshly uploaded theme and it’s sample content. Now it works – I’ve checked and also took a look at the custom css that you have added. That’s IS customer support πŸ™‚

Thank you, it worked. I am curious why align=”center” did not do the trick

    Great, thank you!

Last thing regarding this widget: when header is in sticky mode on a web browser (not mobile) I can see that it is higher with this widget than without it despite that there is plenty of free space at the bottom of the header.

    P.S.
I think that it would be good to include formatting corrections for Polylang widget in the theme. This multilang pluign is getting more and more popular (+100k installs) and it’s great.

    Edit:
    P.P.S.
Argh! When I’ve removed the widget to test the header height in normal and sticky mode with and without the widget and added it again to the header all the custom css for this widget stopped working (tried to remove custom CSS, reload, add custom CSS again and reload).

    Edit2:
    P.P.S.2
OK number of the object (widget) is being incremented after each delete/add. Now it’s OK

I’ve started to use polylang plugin for multilang and had no problems with translating Testimonials (and linking lanugage versions as 1 testimonial entity).

Thank you, it helped (i’ve also added 25px of top margin to align it vertically) but there are 2 issues left:

    1) when user is scrolling down the page and the top menu bar is getting vertically smaller, all elements are re-centred but the language switcher widget stays at the same height. I’ve tried to use here valign: middle but it didn’t helped.

    2) on mobile any widget visible in the top menu bar widget area is placed in the 2nd line of the menu. But in case of language switcher the widget is not centered horizontally under the website logotype (as ie. your social media widget that we have used at http://www.elimiapp.com).

Stupid mistake… I’ve made a typo and instead of using [contact_mail] CF7 tag I was using [contact-mail]. After removing the typo both forms started to work with postman plugin.

    Resolved.
