Thanks for looking at this.
I’m using the same login I sent to you and the Visual/Text tabs still show, even on the new test page you created. It still defaults to the Visual tab. I’ve submitted a bug report to the SiteOrigin GitHub, but if you have any insights, I’d appreciate it.
I understand that tags around <p> tags are non-standard, but without javascript there seems to not be a good way to make all contents of a
a link, etc. I’ve been having bad luck finding a better, js-free solution. Sometimes it is possible to use <span> tags inside an , but that’s hacky at best.July 12, 2017 at 5:01 pm in reply to: Tags Around Other Elements Getting Wiped On Page Update #27030maglioParticipantMaybe the site dropped for a few minutes last night.
Just confirmed it’s working on Firefox, Chrome and in a private tab.

The footer you posted is correct, and it is still not full-width. Thanks.
maglioParticipantTake a look at this page: http://ocdesign.ca/wel/press
Thanks!

maglioParticipantI uploaded and activated the childtheme and it did not resolve the issue.
Custom CSS did not need to be moved to the childtheme, and I confirmed that the childtheme is indeed the active theme.maglioParticipantThank you for the assistance. I can see that the missing piece for me was the Site Layout options. It didn’t occur to me that I needed to go in there and change something.
Thanks for the advice, too!
maglioParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.maglioParticipantYes, I can add widgets to various sidebars in Appearance > Widgets, but what I’m trying to say is that on the WordPress default Posts page (assigned in Settings > Reading) there is no sidebar present. Adding widgets to the Page Sidebar, Blog Sidebar and Post Sidebar does nothing.
Attaching an three-panel screenshot to show you what a few things look like:
Widgets, Posts page back-end, and Post page front-end.You’ll see that there is no sidebar in the Posts page in the front-end.
Is there something missing to show a sidebar here? Thanks!
maglioParticipantI figured this out, you just need to check “REMOVE TITLE HEADER” inside a page.
maglioParticipantI was able to isolate the specific problem in the custom CSS and it’s looking perfect.
Thank you very much for the assistance!maglioParticipantThis reply has been marked as private. -
