Use a post's Youtube video's preview image in Grid widget

Hi,

I’m using Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets Pro and, on my website, I have articles that don’t contain anything beside a Youtube video. See http://54.37.23.129/conserver-un-bien-de-famille-au-fil-des-generations/ for example.

I’m using the Grid widget on the blog’s home (see http://54.37.23.129) and I would like it to use the preview image of the Youtube video as a thumbnail for that kind of articles that doesn’t contain any image. Right now the excerpt just contains the url of the video and there is no thumbnail.

How can I do this?

Only way is to set a featured image for the post. You can grab the thumbnail of the YouTube video – http://www.get-youtube-thumbnail.com/ and set it as a featured image for the post.
