unable to activate – requirements?

When attempting to activate:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in /home/hennahar/public_html/wp-content/themes/extinct/framework/extensions/theme-options.php on line 1472

When attempting live preview:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/hennahar/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 81

What memory requirement are needed?
Current maximum memory configured in php.ini: 40M
How do I change this setting?

Pls have a look at this for more info on setting the memory for your wordpress installation –

You will need to modify the wp-config.php file. You can also try this plugin –

http://wordpress.org/plugins/change-memory-limit/

I recommend at least 128MB memory. After activation, you might memory issues again when you try to import sample data. If the above change does not make a difference, pls contact your hosting provider to increase the memory allocated. Let me know if you need further help. Thanks
