Revolution Slider does not appear on homepage

Hi there. I just installed the enigmatic theme but can’t get the slider to appear on the home page. I’ve watched the two related videos posted on other threads and followed the instructions provided with the theme over and over again. Still no slider on the home page, don’t know what else to try. Could it be an issue with WP 3.8.1?

Never mind… It turns out I didn’t have the “advanced home page” template selected on the page attributes, which is required for the slider to appear. It would be good to include that step on the instructions 🙂
