Recent work home page number of thumbs

in the home page, recent work, by default there are 6 thumbs, how can i increase/change this number?

Pls have a look at the documentation for the shortcode [show_post_snippets]. It has a parameter named post_count which you can use to control the number of posts. Thanks!
