Multiple Filterable Galleries in one site

I was hoping to have 2 different filterable galleries within the site.

For example one gallery allowing filtering to display Categories A, B & C on page 1 and a second gallery filtering to display categories D, E & F on page 2.

Maybe its possible using galleries with 2 different parent categories?

Please can you let me know if this is possible and how to achieve it.
