    Hello Livemesh,

    I’m having issues getting TinyMCE to work properly.
    After setting up a new page and inserting TinyMCE into frontend all functions are gone.
    Could you tell me what scripts/css I’d need to add in addition to TinyMCE?

    We use get_header(); and get_footer();.
    These commands are responsible for “deleting/overwriting” the needed scripts which get usually loaded by the admin/backend.

    I assume that some backend-scripts are missing which are needed by TineMCE.
    Tho, even the Shortcodes are not getting placed into the editor.
    Looks similar to this problem: http://support.livemeshthemes.com/forums/topic/wordpress-3-9-shortcode-panel-not-inserting-content/
    But we’d need the scripts loaded by a custom function{} because it is an external page.

    Many thanks in advance.
    Kind regards
    Chris

    Chris – can you pls disable all plugins and check if that resolves the issue for you? Pls post a temp login in case you still have issue.

    The thread linked to is a very old one and refers to a major change that happened during WordPress 3.9 upgrade and hence should not cause issues with the later versions.
