Image Gallery Style Issues

Making changes to any of the image gallery styles does not effect the gallery in any way.

When you hover over an image gallery object, it has a dark overlay, it appears that overlay does not change color and the text does not change color if you edit styles in the style tab.

Also if you disable the lightbox, the image still has a hover effect which you can not change.

Hopeful for a speedy resolution or guidance on this as I bought the plugin in hopes to use these exact features.
