Can the “Fitness classes” and “trainers” pages be changed to have a heading like the shortcode you can insert instead of the default page header? thanks

Yes you can have normal header in the respective pages , In the page edit window you can find header options .

I see in “edit class” you can add a header under the image of the class, but can you remove the the default header and put the new heading above the image?

Currently custom heading for single classes and single trainer page is not possible .
