Getting Demo Content imported

Hi Guys
I bought the theme and am having problems getting my content to look like the demo site (Isn’t that always the way lol) so I thought i would import the data needed

I have followed instructions in the Template Doc and imported the file
squash-sample-data.xml
No change to site, still looks boring and has my content on it only.
Are there other files I need to import to get the site like yours so i have a starting point to work with. Do I need to import squash-sample-data.xml.gz as example and

What other files are needed

In Fact I can see all the posts there and images so i guess I should reword my enquiry
How to do you get the home page to look like the demo
I have gone through the training but cant see any mention of it. (must have missed it)
I want to add in the sections like you have and assumed by importing the demo site it would bring all that in.

I have a slider working with revolution and have figured that out
Cant figure how to get it to show if I choose posts as home page though 🙂

anyway my main focus at this stage is the home page to duplicate yours

You can set ‘A Static Page’ as front page display and choose Home Page in Settings > Reading and save the changes.
