The doc refers to these sliders as using Showcase post types, but I don’t see any slider admin panels that resemble the screenshots in the theme documentation.
Quoting: “Below are the options provided for Flex Slider and Nivo sliders. Most of these options are documented in the admin panel itself.”
Where is that panel?
Also, on the Showcase page, where do you specify whether the particular slide goes with FlexSlider or Nivo?
On the demo “slider post” there is a dropdown to select the slider type, but that’s all I can find about Flex or Nivo in this theme.

The documentation has all the information you need on the same. The images you use for Flex/Nivo would be the same. Pls have a look at the admin page named “Showcase Slides” as seen below-
and you can find the Nivo and Flex Slider options tab in theme options. Again, the documentation has the screenshot of the same.
