Customising skins

Hello

I’m rather new to this and I can’t find how to customise the skins. Basically I need to adapt it to the company colours. I’ve found the css for the button but nothing else.

I’m building the site in BitNami so I hoped I could just change the picture files on my desktop but it is not allowing me to replace the files in the skins folder.

Customizing the theme should be easy enough. I would say, pls make all modifications in custom.css file in {theme directory}/custom/ folder. You can place the images too in a child folder of this.

To start with re-skinning, You can just copy the contents from one of the css files in skins folder and then replace with color of your choice and then make additional changes to incorporate images too. Hope this feels simple enough.

I usually do not include theme code in custom.css or the custom-functions.php file so that the users can replace the theme supplied file with their own when updates are released.
