contact form not working

When merchants or charities go to send me messages through the contact form that comes with the theme, it does nothing. Can’t figure it out. I deleted the plugin, reinstalled and still nothing. I even tried a different contact plugin, but I can’t get it to work. Any insight you guys can give would be greatly appreciated as I’m live now and don’t want to just list my email address as that looks very unprofessional.
