Hello. I’m having problems with the contact form theme.
I sent the email below to my server:
“Hi.
I’m having trouble with a contact form on my (WordPress) theme.
I have configured the email and it is working. See attached picture.
Still, there is the following recommendation in the documentation:
Enter in the email address to which you want the email to be received. Once the theme is setup, test out the Contact Form functionality. The Contact Form function utilizes wp_mail function to send emails. If emails are not being received, please make sure the contact email entered is the right one and then check with your hosting provider to make sure SMTP and smtp_port have been setup right on your server. Or you can install a Plugin like the Configure SMTP plugin for WordPress to configure SMTP.
Any recommendations?”
Below is the technical answer:
“Thank you for contacting Help Desk.
Please bear in mind that wp_mail and sendmail are installed and fully operational on our servers, so there would be no need to utilize SMTP plugins.”
