before updating theme

I need to know if the custom css I have on the individual pages will carry over or be overwritten if I update the theme. Will all my page content remain intact or do I have to save everything first?

Those are visual Composer css correct? Will they stay or get deleted? I have many pages and I didn’t want to have to copy all those page css files… /:
