Background options in the theme

There are general backgrounds tab in the theme options as shown below –

And you also have backgrounds options in the page/post edit below the WYSIWYG visual editor for setting backgrounds for the header. And if you are looking for backgrounds for page segments (small sections within any page), pls refer to the imported sample data – there are plenty of examples of the same in the home page, about us page. The documentation also has sufficient explanation of [segment[ shortcode which can be used to set parallax backgrounds at each section level in any page. Here is one example –
