background in SiteOrigin to full width?

When I use the default page template and use widgets on the page, I can have a background image or a background color for each widget. But these backgrounds are not full width.
When I use the full width page template the background is full width, but also my content (text in my case).
Is there a better way?

Can you pls set row to full width stretched in pagebuilder “edit row” – Row Styles > Layout tab?

I do not seem to have this option I went to settings > pagebuilder > layout tab

I do see a ‘full width container’ option where ‘body’ is filled (see screenshot, sorry Dutch translation)

O wait, I found it. The setiings on the page itself above the row.

previously i was editing the widget style of the content of the row, that obviously did not work.
