Yelp Logo

Hi,
I need to add the Yelp logo to one of my sites. How can I do this with the current social media widget? I was thinking initially swapping the Twitter logo for it, but want to know what you recommend. Help is very much appreciated.

Yes you can modify one of the existing social icons , You need to modify file framework/shortcodes/social-shortcodes.php and you can add yelp icon bundled with theme .

And if you want to add yelp icon in social widget then you have to modify the file framework/widgets/wired-social-networks-widget.php also .

Could you tell me where/how I should paste this into the Child Theme? Should I duplicate that file and paste it inside the same folder structure as the parent theme?

Your best bet would be to subclass the widget. You do not need to duplicate the folder structure. See option 5 here –

Alternatively, you can create a new file, duplicate the code of the widget, rename the widget and create your own widget with yelp icon added.
