Thumbnails not showing

I recently migrated my install of WordPress across to another sites hosting (TSOhost from iPage), alongside a change of domain from ruthgorseacademy.co.uk/wordpress to ruthgorse.leeds.sch.uk.

The migration is now complete and everything is working perfectly, apart from on my contact page (http://www.ruthgorse.leeds.sch.uk/contact), as the thumbnail for the featured image is not showing.

I have created a test.php and confirmed that GD library is active.

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.1.0 compatible)

Is there anything else which could be causing this?

Hi! I cannot see the space where the thumbnail should appear. I’d recommend that you took it out of the page, publish your page without it and add it as a featured image afterwards. Let us know if that worked out! Cheers!

Thanks for the response Ernesto. Unfortunately that didn’t work.

The page is set up as a Team Profile basically. The Featured Image (http://www.ruthgorse.leeds.sch.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/trgaContact.png) should be displaying on the page where it says Testimonial in the circle, like it does here on the old site: http://www.ruthgorseacademy.co.uk/wordpress/contact/

It is the same for the template gallery: http://www.ruthgorse.leeds.sch.uk/filterable-gallery/

So I figured it would be a case of GD Library not being installed, but it is 🙁

Couldn’t start the thread as private, so made another reply in it with the credentials

My developer friend said the following information when trying to debug it himself:

“I noticed in the preview theme https://www.livemeshthemes.com/agile/#team2
the alt tag for the team image says “Testimonial”, we also see the same behavior however in the script team-shortcodes.php the mo_team_shortcode function seems to have the correct implementation for computing the image_alt tag (name . position) but this isnt used

I would also bring up that our site is https and its causing Blocked Loading active mixed content on all of the Google Font CSS files”

Ok. I disabled all plugins once and see that the thumbnail generation is working fine. This is a plugin issue and I would recommend you to deactivate any plugins you are not using. Also you can configure the “Jetpack” settings and disable the “Photon” module in it. This module has issues with the thumbnail generation. Thanks!

Pls make sure you use WordPress as thumbnail generation method in theme options.
