I am having an issue trying to answer this question for a client using your theme.
Currently we are running a video series http://loveleelifestyle.com/week-three/ where members can comment on each video. She came back with a question asking. LeeAnne Hayden is the owner

LeeAnne is asking: “In the comment box, is each comment and individual post or someone reply to a specific comment….I’ve seen it on other sites where there is one main thread but then multiple conversations within. Is something like this a possibility? It would be nice because all comments for all videos are visible, but different conversations stay visible.”

I am not sure I understand your query fully. Are you asking if we can create multiple threads of conversation in the comments section? Yes – it is possible. Pls see the example below –
