SSL installation now problems with theme

Hi Guys,

Love the Austin theme but since installing my SSL certificate, the website/theme has created some issues.

Showcase slider is now not working as well as images from blogs, testimonials and portfolio sections. The text from service pages has also misaligned it self.

WP was upgraded to 4.6.1 during the same time and I have been told by web dev guy that the theme is an old 1.3 version which could also be the issue.

How can i get an updated version of the theme?
Will updating my theme potentially lose existing changes made to website?
Can SSL certificate cause these issues?
Do you guys have your own web developers that you can provide to help for a cost?

Yes please update theme to latest version.
You can download latest version theme from your themeforest account > downloads tab .

Pls use the enavato toolkit to update theme

Pls do note that you will lose any changes you have made in the theme folder but the theme options, settings etc. will remain. Good to have a backup of the Custom CSS though.

In the latest versions we have removed thumbnail generation by Aqua resizer since ‘Aqua’ cause issues when the file permissions are not set right or with HTTPS sites.You should do fine with WordPress thumbnail generation.

Updating to latest version would resolve all the issues i hope.
