Revolution Slider import issue

Hi there, just bought the Extinct theme today and have been trying to set it up like the demo version. I’ve been trying to follow the installation video, but I can’t seem to get the data import for the slider revolution to work. It always fails with an “incompatible archive” error.

I noticed that the current version of slider revolution is 5.6 and the bundled version is around 5.2.35

Please assist. Thank you.

Nevermind, I got it to work myself thru a little bit of hacking. Apparently, Slider Revolution now exports .zip files with a slider_export.txt file inside.

So what I did was just export a dummy zip file, extracted the txt file within, copy and pasted the contents of the revolution-slider-import-data.txt file bundled with Extinct into the dummy txt file, replacing the original content, and then re-zipped the text file back into the dummy zip file and imported it back in.

It seems to have worked, so maybe something to keep in mind for future versions of the theme.
