Retina logo

Hi, I’ve had a good look through the forums on how to introduce a retina logo – the section describes adding it as an option through the site logo section. I guess this is for a different theme as this option in not available in Austin.

I’ve tried targeting the site-logo container directly with css to swap over background images for the logo based on the resolution but get sketchy results.

Is there an easy way to achieve this? Really just want a sharper logo image when viewed on iPhone/iPad.

If you are comfortable with CSS, you can have a look at our earlier theme –

and see how we are achieving the same. You can probably modify the header.php file and use the related HTML source and CSS of the Appdev theme to achieve the function. We removed this feature for Agile/Austin theme since we found too many people did not care. Do let me know if you need further help.
