Hi livemesh, how did you create your primary menu listing in your demo (https://www.livemeshthemes.com/appdev/)? In particular your Pages link with all the sub-pages. For example, if I choose to go to Pages > Templates > Left Sidebar, I arrive at the Left Sidebar page while Pages in the primary menu stays highlighted. When I created a Downloads page and then a Download for Mac sub-page (where I selected Downloads as the parent in WordPress), the Home link is highlighted instead. I am using the auto-generated menu function of the theme. Do I need to manually create the menu using The WordPress Menu function instead?

    Regards,

Never mind, I figured it out. I did indeed need to create a WordPress menu. But instead of adding sub-page links via the WP menu, since I did not want drop-downs from the primary menu, I set my sub-pages with the main page I wanted as the parent. Now the desired primary menu link stays highlighted when visiting a corresponding sub-page.
