    Hello.

I’m managing a website (commonstransition.org) based on WP-agile. I’m trying to implement a more magazine like style landing page for the blog section and, in order, to achieve this, I’ve set up four distinct post snippet carousels, each meant to exclusively display a category of post. (There are four distinct categories we want to display).

You can see the work in progress here: http://commonstransition.org/stories/ (password: commoner1)

The problem is that I have no idea what to input in the “Taxonomy Terms” box within the Post Snippets Carousel options (after selection “Category” from the Taxonomy drop down menu.)

Is it enough to enter the correct taxonomy in this box to filter out other categories? If not, what should I do (I’m not adept at backend/coding).

Here’s an example of one of the categories I’d like to determine:

Thanks in advance for your help.

You should choose “Category” in the Taxonomy dropdown and then must enter the terms as ‘commoners-in-transition’ (without quotes) etc. Basically the slugs for the terms must be entered with line breaks in between. Take a look at the categories page –

    http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

and find the slug value for each of the category you want to create carousel for.

Just tried it out, choosing category in the dropdown and inserting the slugs for each. If you go to the link you’ll see that the four sliders are still displaying all posts, not the category-defined ones for each.

    How should I proceed now?

    Thanks

Looks like you are using old version of the theme. Pls upgrade to the latest version and you should do fine. I checked the change log and I see that the above bug was fixed in 3.2 version.
