Looks like the original source code is back somehow.

    #25203

    How can we fix this?

    #25204

Do you need a temp user again?

    #25206

SO i just looked in the file and the above code is in the file.

Not sure what is going on

Looks like someone restored from old backup? I am not sure what’s going on. You can always edit the file as suggested above once again and see if it sticks. If it doesn’t, pls check with your hosting provider on why the files are getting restored. Thanks.

What should i remove and from what file?

I just want to make sure I’m doing it right

So i removed the code from js.main and its still happening. What else do I need to do?

ok so i enabled the disable smooth page load and it fixed the double load of the videos, but when i turn it it off- the problem arises again

I see that the code is gone and the page behaves fine now. Is this still an issue? Only two options available – disable fitVids or enable smooth load. Looks like the fitVids is disabled now and hence there is no refresh.

    #25235

How do you see that is not happening? I just opened up BOTH chrome/firefox and its happening.

My client does not like the smooth load. Is there a way we can enable the smooth load but not display the loader? That would be fine.

I am not sure how fitvids is disabled because the videos are still refreshing

I am sorry this is dragging along for so long for both of us – the solution is the same. Disable fitVids as suggested earlier by commenting out the code and things will be fine.

At present fitVids is no longer present in http://hgrantdesigns.com/model/wp-content/themes/agile/js/main.js and hence no double loading issue exists in the page http://hgrantdesigns.com/model/trains/ in both FireFox and Chrome on my Macbook Pro. I checked in incognito mode of the browser as well and saw no issues. You need to verify with incognito mode of Chrome (Ctrl + Shift + N) and see if the issue persists. This is verified by another developer on Windows as well from another location.

You need to refresh the file http://hgrantdesigns.com/model/wp-content/themes/agile/js/main.js and recheck if you are not using incognito mode.

If any issue persists, you need to check with SiteGround on this since they may be caching the file http://hgrantdesigns.com/model/wp-content/themes/agile/js/main.js for your location.

The problem is only happening on windows. It works fine on Mac. I had my friend try it on his windows computer and it was happening it then on other people’s computer it was not happening. So for the time being, I am going to leave it alone and readdress this when I move the site to the live area

We already checked in windows (10) and this double load issue is not happening there ..

For now i am closing this thread, if required you can open a new one .

    Thanks.
