You need to talk to your hosting provider about this (disable the https) or you will have to load all the resources over https. I would recommend you get the ssl disabled for normal browsing and only use it when you are dealing with credentials.
Thanks!
June 11, 2014 at 12:40 pm #7330NexusModeratorPls reply here with the ftp credentials and I will check, if there is any permission issues. Thanks!
June 11, 2014 at 1:10 pm #7334NexusModeratorAlso, Pls change the theme to default (Twenty Twelve or something else) and see whether the images load properly. Let me know what you find out.
June 12, 2014 at 2:39 am #7344dougwebMemberSince this is through chat I cant tell if you were kidding about selectively disabling https or not. I am going to give you the benifit of the doubt and assume you were trying to be humerous.
Simply put, does this theme support https or not?
June 12, 2014 at 11:50 am #7360RaghavendraModeratorThe images are displaying now when I change the thumbnail generation method in theme options to WordPress (WordPress thumb generation is the one used by most themes these days). Just to be sure, I have checked the code for thumbnail generation and I did not see the theme doing anything different than the standard Twenty Thirteen or Twenty Fourteen for thumbnail generation when using WordPress thumbnail generation.
In short, I saw nothing in the theme that should prevent it from generating thumbnails when HTTPS is enabled and the images are showing up now. Hope this helps.
June 12, 2014 at 11:51 am #7361RaghavendraModeratorBTW, I did check another installation with HTTPS enabled and the WordPress thumb generation resolved the issue there too.
June 18, 2014 at 7:00 pm #7484dougwebMemberI removed the images now, because that completely messed things up. If you check the page in firefox with the change you made, everything is sized incorrectly. It only looks right in chrome.
Please let me know what the status of this issue is. I either want a full refund for the theme, or some fix. Thank you for your help.
June 19, 2014 at 1:35 pm #7502RaghavendraModeratorI am surprised to hear that Firefox is displaying images differently than Chrome. Well, we cannot login to your site to check this – hitting 404 error on login page. Not sure everything is setup right here. Also, I still can’t get why you need HTTPS for all pages. May be I am missing something.
Pls let me know when the login issue is fixed and I will be able to check what’s happening in Firefox. Thanks
