Thanks for the rating. Blog sortable by category (if you mean like the one we have for portfolio item) is not possible at present. The common usecase for WordPress is to have a WP native category widget on the top right of the blog so that users can navigate to respective category to view the posts. The [post-snippets] shortcode also supports filtering based on category.
If you have an example of what you have in mind, send out the link and I can have a look at it. Thanks
