Modifying featured image links for team members

I would like to ideally remove the featured image links for team member profiles. Right now the links just go to the home page. I’ve seen many people post about this in this forum but most of the responses are marked as private and a lot of the posts are quite old (2-5 years old) so I’m wary of implementing any fixes that were suggested that long ago.

Seems like the question has been asked often enough that you might want to make an FAQ about it? Anyway, if you could assist with this issue, that’d be awesome. Thanks!

Pls have the below custom CSS in themeoptions > custom CSS –

.team-member .img-wrap img {
    pointer-events: none !important;
}

That didn’t seem to produce any result. I cleared the cache after adding the custom css you suggested but it’s not working.
