issue with theme shortcodes button

hi, i thought that if i’m editing and, for example, highlight some text and then click the little “plus” sign for theme shortcodes, i’d see some of the options (e.g. “highlight1”)

instead, it’s just a pop up and is not interactive. is that a bug? is there some other way to register specific shortcodes for regular use?

Sorry about that – I thought we got rid of that button long back on Invent theme. It was replaced long long ago by the much more user friendly Shortcodes tool. You can see that just beside this icon with the livemesh logo on it. Pls use the same. We will remove this button in next update. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
