internet explorer doesn't seem to show css

Austin Theme doesn’t display correctly on internet explorer – I have updated all plugins and the theme, it looks like the css isn’t working. I am using a child theme of austin and some custom css but not much.
Is this a feature of the theme or internet explorer? or have I done something wrong?

I don’t see any issues in IE 11 . Everything seems ok ..
