Importing Sample Content

I’m having some problems importing your sample data (using the file “extinct-sample-data.xml”). When I try importing it, nothing happens…

Please help!

Hi, could you send us a temp user so we can inspect the issue by ourselves?

Hi, we checked the issue and this is not an issue with the theme. Try disabling all of your plugins (except WP Importer) and if the problem continues, you’ll need to contact your hosting provider, in case there’s a conflict between the server and the WP Installation

Now there’s an error message:

“Sorry, there has been an error.
File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.”

So I guess I’ll just have to contact my hosting provider.

After importing sample data, my home pages looks like the attached screenshot. How can I activate content so that it looks like the demo content?
