Hi there,
is there a recommended method for getting the font file size down… at the moment the icon ttf file was causing 8sec delay out of an 11 sec page load time!!

only using the social media icons in footer widget but would like to keep them.

Is there a way to make the font with say 3 chars in it?

Can you point me in direction for a tool to do this?

You can generate your own font files by choosing the icons you need at

https://icomoon.io/app/#/select

and then replace the font files in the css/icon-fonts directory.

With the new font files, you may have to modify some of the icon tags to reflect the new class names in the file framework/shortcodes/social-shortcodes.php file at line numbers 79 to 103. Pls look for tags like these –

If you do not want to mess with PHP file, you can modify the class names in css/icon-fonts.css file instead to match the class names in PHP file.
