Header image issue

I want to upload a website header to my website and as you can see the results turned out to be weird http://flexiblewriter.com/

I could not find any place where I could upload a website header from so I used the logo option for that purpose. Not only the header does not fit in, it also covers the website menu. Header size I am using is: 1600X250

You can add the html source code inside <div id="header"> in header.php file instead of adding it as a sitelogo.
