    Hi there. I’m a bit of an amatuer as far as CSS and wordpress. How do I thin the header/nav bar at the top? Also, what are the suggested logo dimensions? I can not get the look of the demo duplicated my logo either widens the header or ends up so small and unclear that it should not be used. Thanks in advance.

    In the demo site we have used 177 X 55 px .
    We can help you if you share a link to your site.

    unfortunately I am developing the site locally and moving it live once it is finished so I don’t have that option. I have another site that I’m working on, I may consider moving it there temporarily to get your assistence….I changed the file to the dimensions you gave, the logo is clear but it is still sitting on top of the nav bar. I believe the font of the menu is slightly larger as well. I just want to achieve the look of a clean top nav bar, logo far left, menu aligned straight across…

    Ok apologies, I found that having too many tabs in the nav bar was the real issue on both sides. My next question now is, is there a way to incorporate an image or pattern into the header of pages? To add a little more appeal to the look other then the solid color? I believe this was part of the demo as well

    You can use the below custom CSS in themeoptions –

    #header {
        background: url(https://www.livemeshthemes.com/wired/wp-content/uploads/sites/12/2012/05/bg-header.jpg);
        background-size: cover;
    }

    if you are asking about page title header area then you can modify it in page edit window – custom header options .
