Featured image dimension ratio on portfolio page

Hi,

Is it possible to customise the image dimensions of the featured image on the portfolio page to match the height / width ratio to the thumbnail size? At the moment, my images looks cut off at the top and bottom on the individual portfolio whereas it looks fine as thumbnails.

Otherwise, is there a way to stop the featured image from showing on the portfolio page and I’ll reinsert the image at the preferred original dimensions?

The solution to your problem will be easier than you would expect. There is an option in the theme options panel under ‘General’ tab. It’s labeled ‘Retain Image Height’. Just check it and you are done.

Remember that this will apply to blog posts too, i.e., images will not be cropped for single posts. Thanks
