    I purchased the Extinct theme recently from Envato and I’m trying to upload it to my staging site to work on it and I keep receiving an error saying it’s missing the style.ccs stylesheet.

    You are trying to import wrong file i guess. You need to unzip the bundle that you downloaded from themeforest and you just need to upload extinct.zip folder.
