Excerpt Field Missing

I somehow can’t find the excerpt box in the post editor. As a result of that, the previews for posts are coming out wonky, with cut off text etc.

Any ideas? Is there another field where I can determine manual excerpt so they show below featured images, etc?

This field is not displayed in the post edit screen by default. To enable it a user needs to click on Screen Options button on the top right corner of post edit screen and then enable it.
