Disable comments on pages

How do I disable comments on pages?

Hi! You need to go to section Settings>Discussion where you can find all the options for disabling comments on any given page or in all pages.

I wish to disable comments on my website’s pages but going to settings > discussions, it doesn’t give me any option to disable comments. Screenshots of the discussion page attached.
