Changing background of specific page sections?

In the background section of theme options it shows a few color options but some of the page sections have colors that don’t appear to be changeable. I must be missing something for sure.

Can you help me figure out how or where I would change the color of this background to something other than blue? http://i.imgur.com/1AxoEMO.png

You can edit the “Showcase” page section and for the segment with id “featured-app” you can set the background_color property like below inside the shortcode itself

[segment id="featured-app" background_color="#46a5d5"]
