    Hello,

I would like to change the name of invent theme’s default slug such as “news, department, faculty” to something else like “note, services, shops” because in the URL address section I want to be able to see “note, services and shops” instead.

I went to framework > presentation > custom-post-types.php to make changes to those values. All the permalinks of those pages displayed in WordPress admin control panel have reflected the changes of the slugs perfectly (and URLs are changed with new slug accordingly) but they are not working.

For example http://mysite/faculty/abc is by default right? And after the slug “faculty” changed to “shops” now becomes http://mysite/shops/abc however when I actually access the page it outputs “404 Not Found”. The website is still using the old permalik, http://mysite/faculty/abc.

I have restarted server and browser but it didn’t resolve the situation.
Are there any way I can reflect the change of permalink 100%?

    I really appreciate your advise.
    Thank you.

    P.S.
I am using local server and the site is not in public.

You will need to visit Settings->Permalinks once for the slug change to take effect.
