Can't add hex values in options color picker

I’ve tried this suggestion from another post but it didn’t work.

“Can you pls try to add the below CSS in file framework/option-tree/assets/css/ot-admin.css

.hide-color-picker {
display: block;
}”

I figured it out. I changed it on the child but that didn’t seem to work so I changed it on the parent theme and it works. When can we see a fix for this? I am using this theme on several sites now…
