Our site is now almost finished but we have some last minute issues. The breadcrums work great only on the portfolio pagse they show up incorrectly.
This is how they show up on all regular pages which is perfect:
Breadcrum –>Home / The Company / Details about this and that
(e.g. http://www.website.com/the_company/Details/)This is how the breadcrums show op on portfolio pages:
Breadcrum: –>Home / test123
(e.g. http://www.website.com/portfolio/test123/)What can we do? Thank you in advance!
You are probably looking for including the parent portfolio page link there in the breadcrumb. You just need to select the page under option Portfolio Page in Portfolio Page tab in theme options. That should help.
Yes, the above does not help if you have two pages. Anyway you can have a single page which links to both of these pages in turn? You can also modify the framework/functions/breadcrumbs.php file at line number 49 to obtain the archive page for the portfolio entry category.
Best and easy way to go about this – you can override the default portfolio page setting for a portfolio entry by having a WordPress custom field named “mo_default_portfolio_page” in your portfolio entry which points to a different portfolio page id. The theme checks for custom field setting first before going to the theme options setting. If the name of the option are same, the custom field setting takes precedence. Hope this helps.
