Hey, I’m not a specialist but if you could take a minute a log into my site and go to the page section ‘blog posts’ and add the short codes to produce something like this (attached), I would be greatly appreciative.
Thanks again 😉
June 12, 2015 at 5:44 am #14652VeenaModeratorKindly use post snippets shortcode –
[show_post_snippets post_type="post" number_of_columns=3 post_count=3 image_size='medium' excerpt_count=100 display_title="true" display_summary="true" show_excerpt="true" hide_thumbnail="false"]
You can copy paste the above shortcode.
And pls change the values of the parameters accordingly. Pls go through the themedocumentation – Post Snippets Shortcode.June 12, 2015 at 11:11 am #14663aespatersonMemberThis reply has been marked as private.June 12, 2015 at 12:42 pm #14665VeenaModeratorThere is no need to give 3 separate post snippets shortcode and column shortcode.
You can manage it by using one single post snippet shortcode.
Can you please try the below shortcode in a new pagesection?[show_post_snippets post_type="post" number_of_columns=3 post_count=3 image_size='medium' excerpt_count=100 display_title="true" display_summary="true" show_excerpt="true" hide_thumbnail="false"]
And also it will display in the way you want, latest first.
Pls go through the documentation once so that you will get a better clarity about using shortcodes and its parameters.
Thanks.

And there is no other way to arrange the blog post in chronological order using post snippets shortcode.
The way you are using is like calling the same item again and again and everytime it is taking the latest post first from the list and it is meaningless.June 13, 2015 at 8:31 am #14682aespatersonMemberThis reply has been marked as private.June 15, 2015 at 1:47 pm #14691RaghavendraModeratorPls have a look. The page section Blog Posts 2 should be doing fine. With Slider Post, you need to set the slider images since they would be pointing to our demo site initially and will error out on thumbnail generation since it is an external site. I have changed the slider post to point to the images in your site and now things look fine. Thanks

Hey, that is really (really) a big help, thank you very much!
Have a great day.
