Austin Theme Update not working

PLease help, I am still using Austin Version 1.4 and cannot update.
even with this plugin, that you recommended.

If you could log in and try, that would be helpful.

When I chose your template I did not know how much know-how was implicit. I would not know which files I need to save before the update. I don’t know what source files or child themes are. I am very sorry.
I made changes to the Cpyright field in the footer to remove “Theme by Austin”
and
you made changes to page section buttons to be able to open in new tab:

“We do not have a open in new window option in the action_call shortcode at present. I took the HTML generated by the shortcode and modified the same (target=”_blank” in button )and inserted the same in your page section and now the button does open the link in new window. Pls check.”

Looks like there was some permission or security setting which made the update through the plugin to not work. Anyway, I deleted the old theme version and installed the latest 1.7 version. Pls check and get back to us if you see issues.
